Access Bugs Deleting Files.

I got this question today regarding what one of my co workers thinks Access
is capable of when its laden with bugs...anyone heard of this?

"Do you ever lose documents on your PC out of the blue? Today while I was
trying to build a report in access, my PC blinked and when I tried to access
"my documents", the folder was empty. Luckily I had backed up my data to the
S drive about 2 weeks ago. However, the bad news is that all the documents I
have created or made changes to since then have been lost.

So far I have had three people tell me that the cause is probably Access.
They seem to think it houses bugs that can corrupt your files or something.
But you use Access more than anyone so I was wondering if it is happening to
you too? Does your PC ever get all crazy and hide or delete your documents
when you are using Access?"

TIA
Antonio

Utter nonsense.

It's hard to know if these people are pulling your leg, totally ignorant on
technical things, or being malicious.
