access asking for password

I am trying to use Access to create a database for school. Upon opening
Access I am prompted for a password. Nothing I know of is working. I also
tried leaving it blank. I have not used Access since the computer returned
from the doctor. I do not recall even having a password before. I have
tried many of the other ideas and nothing is working. I tried the Tools,
security, user accounts,.... at this point it asks for the password and I can
go no farther. I tried the start, search *.mdw files and got one then did
the start, run, type wrkgadme.exe and came back with cannot find
'wrkgadm.exe'.

If it is asking for a password only (no user name) then this can be caused
by the file being corrupted. This form of corruption is usually not
recoverable. There are "password breaker" utilities on the web that you can
try if the file really has had a password assigned to it, but if those don't
work then the file is hosed.

Yes, it asks for user name but this is given. I assumed the problem was in
the password. The user name given is the user name the doctor gave windows
program when it was redone recently.
