Access 97 and Windows XP

I get the following message when I try to use my Access 87
on Windows XP...

"Microsoft Access can't start because there is no license
for it on this machine"

Anyone have any suggestions to rememdy this problem??

rosie, the same thing happened to me but i installed
xpoffice, then 97 access would not work. please let me
know if you find solution. thanks
 
Are you running XP office or Office 97?
