My client has been using an Access 2000 split database for a few years now
(approx 7 users each with their own local front-end). They are starting to
update their workstations to Office 2003. The un-updated machines are
running Jet 4.0.6218 and the updated machines are running Jet 4.0.8618;
they're concerned about the possibility of data corruption if some users are
using their 2000 front-end and some are using their 2003 front-end, linked
to the same back-end Access 2000 database. As an added bonus, the back-end
is replicated due to a couple of off-site users.

They also want to know if they should "Open" their front-end in 2003, or
"Convert" their front-end. Eventually (sooner rather than later if need
be), they will all be running Access 2003.

Thanks,
Mark
