Access 2007 Import

I use to be able to import an Excel file into a table in Access 2007 now I
always get a warning message "Because of your security settings and current
security policy, this control is disabled. To modify your policy and enable
the databsae, use the Message Bar." I have no restrictions in the trust
center settings and all of a sudden the message bar never displays. I have
tried everything I can think of but with no success including removing office
2007 and reinstalling. I think my registry must be corrupted somehow. Any
thoughts?

Issue Resolved...
I did a compact and repair on my database it the import function now works.
I do not understand this as I created a new database and tried to import and
had the same problem. Must be something to do with 2007 security center.

Acctually it is an option in the trust center. Look at Showing the message
bar in the trust center. Dead give away is you created a new database so
your default options changed.
