Access 2007 - background colour of form field keeps changing

I have a couple of forms set up with various fields on them. Background
colour for each field on both forms is set at #FFFFCC. The problem I have
is that in Access 2007 on ONE of the forms the background colour fields
changes to dark grey as you move from field to field. The original colour
is there when the field is in use (and when the form is loaded and when you
move to a new record) but as you move off it the colour changes. The other
form works fine.

This does not happen in Access 2003.

Any idea what is causing this?

There's a new property in Access 2007 for changing colors on alternate rows.

1. Open the form in design view.

2. Open the Properties sheet.

3. Click on the Detail section (gray bar.)

4. Set the Alternate Back Color property to:
No Color

This was already set to No Color. All the fields affected are in the Detail
section of the form.

The strange part of this behavious is that none of the numerical fields
(including date fields) are affected - they retain the background colour
when moving to the next field! Only text fields seem to change the colour.

If we are not talking about this property, and not in datasheet view,
Conditional Formatting is the only other thing that comes to mind.
