Access 2003 mde crashing on Refresh in various Forms

Hi all,

I have an A03 Client/Server application running with MS SQL Server
2005 as Server. Frontend is an A03 mdb (Admin) / mde (Users). System
is Win XP SP 2 and Office 2003 SP 3.

Recently the application has become unstable. I cannot pinpoint the
problem because crashes happen throughout the various Forms.

A closer look at the error report shows:
AppName: msaccess.exe, AppVer: 11.0.8166.0, ModName: msjtes40.dll,
ModVer: 4.0.9502.0, Offset: 00006fc9

There is no 100% reliable way to trigger the problem, but it sometimes
happens when pressing <F9> to refresh a Form or when using the Access
command "DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdRefresh". Is there anything "offensive"
about using "Refresh"??

I have tried the following methods for repair so far:
- Compact/Repair Database
- /decompile
- Starting with a new database and importing all objects from the old
one

None of these solved the problem.

One other odd thing I observed: the "AutoKeys" macro is no longer
working, but I don't know when (let alone why...) that happened. It
could be since we installed Office SP3, but I am not sure about that.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this thing is driving me and my
users crazy :(

Thanks in advance

Yes, and today I completely rebuilt the DB on another machine.
Didn't solve my problem :(
