access 2002 and sql queries

Howdy folks,
I was wondering if I can just write out sql statements for queries instead
of using the query interface. Is there a sql window where I can just type in
the sql and run it? Also, if the above can be done is there a comprehensive
list of differences between ms sql and standard sql?

I just answered my own question, found the sql view under the view menu.
