Access 2000 deleting records by itself (repost)

Hello again all,
This is a repost as I thought the problem was solved. I have just upgraded,
migrated, moved my data to Access 2000 from Access 97. went through repairs
and compacting the db as well as running the security wizard to allow others
to use the database. One problem has persisted that is that Access2k is
deleting records every once in a while. No pattern to the deletes. Access is
not removing the record from the table only placing "#Delete" in each field
and leaving the record there. even the "Key Field" has the "#Delete" in it.
the frontends were converted to Access 2000 many moons ago. so I know that it
isn't necessarly the frontend causing the problem. When I try to run a query
I get a warning "Record is deleted". Thanks in advance for any assitance.

Corruption. It's most likely caused by network problems as the BE is out on
the network. You need to get the network people to run a sniffer to look for
a NIC, router, hub, etc., that is causing bad packets or some sort of
interruptions. As for the NIC (Network Interface Card) it doesn't have to be
on a computer even using the database. Just spewing out bad packets is enough.

Tony Toews has an excellent web page on database corruption.

Allen Brown also has excellent info on corruption.

I have a white paper in a Word document named Fix Corrupt Access Database
towards the bottom this page:

Thanks for the info. I have looked at some of it and I think it will come in
very handy to solve my problem. Again thanks to everyone who helps those of
us who are not experts.
