Access 2000 Could not lock file Error Message

I have a database with security on it and have a user's
computer joined to a workgroup that I created and put out
on our LAN. When opening the Access DB she receives an
error after entering the user name and password that
says "Could not lock file". I have made sure that under
Tools, Options, Advanced the options are set for Shared
and no record locks are on.

Has anyone been able to solve this problem?
 
Hi Sandy,

She needs full access (read, write, modify, delete, etc) to the folder
containing the mdb file. Actually, anyone accessing the mdb file needs full
access.
