Access 2000 and SQL Server 2005?

We currently are using mostly Access 2000 as our frontend to our SQL 2000
servers via .adp's and are looking to go to SQL 2005 but want to wait until
Access 2007 to upgrade our Access. I was able to change the Access 2000 .adp
connection to an sql 2005 database but can't go into design view of tables or
views and sp's all have ;1 after the name and when try to open them, it says
can't find that sp name? Is there an Access fix for this? I think there was
something when we went to SQL 2000 or it was included in sr1/1a? Is there
something similar for SQL 2005? Or are we stuck waiting until after we do
the 2007 Offic upgrade when it comes out?

Also, does anyone know if Microsoft plans on having a developer edition of
Access 2007 you can create runtimes?

Thanks,
Joe

I put in sp3 of Office 2000 and now they looks better. SP's have correct
names without the ;1 and I can get into design view of them. But, it does
not allow me to change the table view design? Is this normal? It's not the
end of the world if we have to do those within sql enterprise manager.

you should wait until Access 2007 to move to SQL 2005

it's obvious that Microsoft doesn't want to sell more copies of SQL
2005; so screw them
