Access 2000 & 2003 compatibility

I have a database written in '2000' which is used network wide by many users.
We have recently upgraded a couple of workstations to Office 2003 and these
workstations cannot open the 2000 database. The message "You do not have the
necessary permissions to use ......" appears.
What do I have to do to allow these users to have access to the database?

The 2000 version was secured. If it is launched via a desktop shortcut,
check the target. That will tell you the workgroup file (.mdw) that it was
using.

You'll need to create a similar shortcut on the 2003 machines, modifying the
target to point to the correct location of msaccess.exe and the secured mdw.

We had to give our 2003 users permissions to open the database exclusively.
