Accents Instead of Punctuation

Some of my keys namely the apostrophe and backslash keys are currently
producing French accents in place of the symbol one would expect. Any ideas?
 
You have enabled an international keyboard. Correct this through Windows
Control Panel | Regional Options | Input Locales or Regional and Language
Options | Languages.
 
Check the keyboard language matches your keyboard. (Windows Regional
Settings).
