? about setting about an acct

I'm setting up a Windows Mail acct for my sister. I have the account all set
up, but when it asks me to verify the user ID and password, it won't accept
the one's I have entered. Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions?

Windows Mail is an e-mail client, not an account. You need to get all the
settings from your ISP. The address and password must be registered with
the ISP as well.

Without knowing the email provider (after the @ symbol), we can only guess
that the issue is probably a checkbox on / off in error.
Toggle the SPA (Secure Password Authentication). To see if that makes a
difference. Others to consider are the SSL on incoming and outgoing servers
(note these will both either be on or off - not one on and one off). If you
can't figure this out, then let us know the provider - part after the @
symbol - for further info.
