I have a problem in my office, actually we have several sets of Offic
2000 professional CDs. And we didn't know which CD sets have been use
to install onto our PC.

The problem arised, when I try to carry out upgrades or othe
installation, errors always popups require a proper sets o
installation CDs (That's the orgional CD sets that first install on th
PC).

How, to indentify between different CD sets? Is there any indication o
the CD itself without removing and reinstallation of the CD onto the PC

Hi!

You cannot see the Product key after the setup, so you have to remove and
reinstall Office.

Installation cd's should be the same, the product numbers are not loaded onto
the cd's. As long as you have the same version Office --- Standard vs Pro vs
Small Business, you should not have any problems.

Presumably you can insert CDs until one is accepted ? I have ha
similar problems in the past and found MS applications reasonabl
flexible in this approach.
OK - depends how many CDs you have ..........................
