About installing of window xp

Is it necessary to setup CD-ROM drive as first boot
device and insert CD and reboot pc, then install from
there, cos my pc is able to detect the CD once I insert
and was given the prompt for installing xp.

Sometimes I'm confused as other's was saying that I need
to insert CD then reboot........

Anyone?

If your pc automatically offers you the opportunity to boot from the cd,
the boot order is already set up that way in the BIOS and you don't
need to change anything. Here is a link to information about installing
