About drivers for A9800XT

This may sound or seem rather lame, but I'll tell you googling for a
real site to download drivers for Radeon A9800XT pro is a bad dream.

Using Asus site itself is even a worse nightmare. Not to mention
those drivers, at least the ones that came with my card, do not solve
my problem.
The problem being that my card is completely dis-functional on a new
install with new mobo (aopen AK86-L) where I once had it working just
fine when it was an Asus K8V SE that I ruined while installing a
memory upgrade. All this in Athlon64 +3400

I want some after market drivers for the above card and would like a
real exact URL to get them. Instead what I find googling is a
snakepit full of sites that are either totally or nearly useless far
as finding anything on them.

Next comes dozens of messages from children who are incapable of
writing a whole sentence, nevermind posting a working url.

They appear to use usenet like ICQ and I find dozens of messages like.

Those drivers don't work 4 that card.

Or
U can't use the included drivers

That's it end of message

OK enough sniveling I guess, and can some kind adult give me a real
working URL where drivers for A9800XT can be found readily.

Thanks, what a nice clean URL. Man I couldn't get to ATI pages for
love nor money, when I wrote that. And when I did I got the goofy
pages that appear when you click support at www.asus.com.

I got that messy `new user should click here' that never goes any
where or does anything but take up time. Even now when my connection
is much better it leads to a bunch of confusing pages with no address
that have no scroll bar and is apparently a list of faq questions and
answers .. none related to drivers that I see.

Your URL is a really good one... thanks.

You may want to post the numbers that appear on your board.

Someone may be bale to identify the specific manufacturer of your video
card and point you in the direction of the drivers specifically written
for you card and not just the ATI reference drivers.

Good Luck!

I'd suggest the ati drivers from www.ati.com
