about adding e-mail

can i add hotmail , yahoo, live mail in the windows mail. what should i
select pop or IMAP and what should i put on incoming mail server and in
outgoing e-mail server. or this is not for yahoo and hotmail

US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail
access only, no POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not
webmail. The official Yahoo solution:

Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:

In order to accommodate Hotmail and Live.com accounts, you will

1. How did you access Yahoo mail before? If you are happy with
webmail via your browser, you can continue to use that.

2. Pay Yahoo to get their premium "Mail Plus" service:

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have three other
solutions:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Get a free Gmail account.
* Get a free Hotmail/Live account, and use it with the Windows Live Mail email program.
