Able to access network in safe mode, but not normal mode

I am able to access the network in "safe mode with networking", but when I
switch back to normal mode I can no longer see the network. Any clues?

Thanks,
Roger

Generally, when something works in safe mode but not otherwise, it means
that either (a) there is a corrupted driver that is being replaced by
a standard driver in safe mode or (b, and more likely in your case)
there is a program or service that is not being started in safe mode but
blocks the desired action in normal mode.

Check for misconfigured firewalls. Or do some clean boot troubleshooting:

Lem, thanks for the help. It turned out to be Norton Internet Security.
Once I uninstalled that, it works fine.

Thanks again,
Roger
