Ability for Outlook to trust other applications.

In enterprise situations, Outlook should have the ability to trust certain
applications which are defined by the organization. For instance, when doing
a mail merge from Word, unless you use the HTML merge type, Outlook gives a
security prompt for every e-mail which is sent. Unfortunately, the HTML
merge does not work properly when merging in items such as hyperlinks. The
user is then forced to either accept the security prompt for each mail or
exclude the hyperlink from each email. Organizations should either have the
ability to trust applications like Word or have the ability to limit the
number of security prompts which come up.

Use the security form for Exchange that lives in a public folder to allow
whatever you want.

We have the 'Outlook 10 Security Settings' public folder setup with all
programmatic settings set to automatically approve. Since the Word mail
merge is not a COM addin we cannot use the Trusted Code tab to allow this
access. I contacted MS yesterday and received a work-around for my
particular problem. This is just a suggestion for future versions of Office.
