aahh! I have Norton on my pc

I purchased a computer today and the first thing I find out about it is that
it has Norton antivirus already installed on it. I REALY don't want this as
I had a lot of problems with Norton on my last computer. What can I do to
get rid of it? Using the ADD/REMOVE options on the control panel did not
completely remove it on my previous computer.
