A8N SLI BIOS 1004 Problem

I have the A8N-SLI mainboard (not the deluxe version) and recently
upgraded to BIOS to version 1004. On entering the Max Mem Clock
settings, there are no memory clock speed options to select and the
BIOS window freezes requiring a restart. I have now gone back to BIOS
1001 which works fine. What is the problem with version 1004? I have
matched DDR400 memory, a single 6600GT graphics card and two SATA
200MB Maxtor drives run as a RAID 1 array.

I also notice there are no PEG mode settings in the 1001 BIOS. Should
I have these and what so they do?

Try resetting the BIOS settings to setup defaults and trying it again. I
think I saw this after upgrading to 1004, and that fixed it.
