Hi,

i've just plugged in my new Altec Lansing 5100 speakers, but are having
problems.

1) I used the correct Front, Left and Center outputs. But it didn't work.

2) I used the alternative (mic + line out) - now when doing the nvidia
speaker test. Both Front Left/Right are the same

Any one who have an altec lansing 5100 speaker set connected to their
board - if so how ??

Thanks,
jorgen

Don't they have a built in 5.1 decoder? Personally I'd enable the Dolby 5.1
encoding in the nForce Control Panel and connect them digitally.

If they don't do the decoding, then all I can say is ensure that you have
the correct setup in the speaker setup part of the control panel...

they have built in 5.1 - I connect the audiojacks to Front/Left/Center - so
should work. unfortunately, they don't have digital input (spdif).....

still front left/right are the same.....
