Has anyone used Nanya memory?
I can't tell if it is working right.

According to AIDA32
Memory read is 2451MB/s
Memory write is 989MB/s

does this sound right?

I have other issues with this MB that advice would be appreciated.
1. I can't change the FSB from 166 to 200

2. I can't change any of the CPU values

when I try to change any of the above, the system locks up and says
"System shut down due to overclocking"
I finally figured out that I could take out the CMOS battery, put it
back Then reboot to get back in.

Thanks for all the help in advance

For some reason I can't overclock! When I change from 166FSB to
200FSB, or any other CPU/Memory settings, the computer reboots and
shuts down.

Question: which BIOS memory timings are you using: Optimal, Aggressive
or User defined?
Try using the "optimal" or safe settings first (sure is a misnomer
when the BIOS calls safe settings "optimal", lol).
If the above still don't work for a boot at 200 fsb, try using these
memory settings: 11-3-3-3 , if no workie, try 12-4-4-3, if no workie,
take that memory back.

Below are the settings that I can run. Any variation that I have
tried, results in the domputer shutting down. In order to boot again,
I have to clear CMOS! HELLLLLPPPPPP!!!

CPU Frequency Multiple Setting (Auto)
CPU frequency Multiple 12.5x Highest multiplier
System Preformance (Optimal)
CPU Interface (Optimal)
Memory Frequency (Auto)
Resulting Frequency (Auto)
Memory Timings (Optimal)
SDRAM Active Precharge Delay 7
SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay 3
SDRAM RAS Precharge Delay 3
SDRAM CAS Latency 2.5
FSB Spread Spectrum 1.00%
AGP Spread Spectrum 0.50%
CPU Vcore (Auto)
CPU Vcore 1.650v

1. I can't change the FSB from 166 to 200

Set System Performance to User Defined in BIOS, then you can adjust it
in small increments. FWIW my board won't even boot sometimes when set to
a 166MHz bus, but anything lower and higher and it runs just fine.
2. I can't change any of the CPU values

Set CPU Frequency Multiple Setting to Menu in BIOS, but if you have a
locked CPU leave it at Auto as this won't do anything for you. If it's
an unlocked CPU you'll only be able to lower the multiplier on this
mother board with a CPU which has a 12.5x multiplier or lower.
when I try to change any of the above, the system locks up and says
"System shut down due to overclocking"
I finally figured out that I could take out the CMOS battery, put it

If you know the timings of your ram try setting Memory Timings to User
Defined and enter them in manually, and set Memory Frequency to 100%,
also turn off Speed Spectrum unless you have EMI issues.
