A7n8x Deluxe memory setting?

I have a A7n8x Deluxe with a Palomino 1900+ which runs at 266 FSB.
I am using two 512mb of PC3200 memory on the board in dual channel
mode. If I try to run it at 200mhz I get lots of windows errors and
reboots. What is the max you can set your memory at.. I am assuming
its only as fast at the cpu's FSB? I am able to run it at 166mhz in
dual mode and things seem to work fine.

BTW I am running windows XP home..

Thanks

I was running my Barton 2500 + at 200 fsb..however..the Pal 1900 can not
handle it..I had one of those before..I have that in my kids system and it
was in this . It will virtually destroy itself trying to run at those speeds
so I would not try it with that.

I'm running a Palomino 2000+ and Dual Channel Giel Golden Dragon PC3500
(2x256M) in a A7N8X deluxe.
I've cleared my CMOS probably 50 times trying to set the memory numbers to
get 200Mhz memory clock in Dual Channel mode. IT WON'T......................
I starting to believe this is that the MoBo won't Dual Channel at 150% for
memory. I might have got it to go at 133%...... Perhaps I'll have a few
drinks and get in the CMOS clearing mood later and retry 133%.
However, I can with memory installed into sockets 1 and 2(single channel),
raise my FSB to external 142Mhz(284Mhz), and run my memory at 150%
5-3-3-2(426Mhz).But when I back off to less than 133Mhz on fsb, use 166%,
and try memory at 434Mhz it's a no go even at 8-4-4-3.
Then I melted 300watt PS.........I now have a Thermaltake 480watt
XaserIII( nice and quiet)(wires rediculously long and stiff)....no memory
timing improvement..........
I feel the need for speed...........need more $$$$ though!
400 Mhz Bartons a bit steep.

Has anyone had succeess at running a 333Mhz barton with 133%
memory(preferably Dual Channel)......perhaps my memory could pull 444Mhz set
at 8-4-4-2. The 2800+ is going pretty cheap now but I don't want to end up
running my memory at 333Mhz.

Watching my computer boot....what fun....I need a life!
