a very minor annoyance . . .

A few years ago I'd added an add-in to XL2003 (don't remember what it was
for, but I recall always seeing "FUNCRES" appear for a few seconds at the
bottom of the workbook as XL was opening).
Last month I uninstalled and re-installed the Office 2003 to get rid of the
components I don't use.
Ever since then, whenever I open XL (even a brand-new blank workbook), I get
the following message:
"Microsoft Excel can't run this add-in. This feature is not
currently
installed. Would you like to install it now?" (Yes)
(No)"
It's as if XL is "helpfully" reminding me of that add-in. Is there any way
to convince XL that I REALLY don't want it?
As I said, it's a minor annoyance, but I'd appreciate any suggestions or
insights.
Thanks.

I would re-install the Analysis Toolpak.............you may need it sometime
down the line. It contains many useful functions.

Otherwise.......uncheck it in Tools>Add-ins as Nick suggests.

Oddly enough, Analysis Toolpack was already unchecked.
However, I checked it, clicked OK, then UNchecked it, clicked OK again.
And that did the trick.
Thanks to both of you.
