A very annoying problem. Can anybody help?

When I open Internet explorer 6 my home page pops up & fills the complete
screen as it should so no problems there, but when I click a link to another
web site that page pops up in a much smaller window instead of filling the
screen. So I have to expand the page I want to view every time & its really
starting to bug me me now. It never used to do this so I guess there is a
simple solution. Can anybody help?. Regards, Ian

Open a new window from a link that launches one. Close all previous IE
windows. Do not click the Maximize button. Drag the edges to resize the IE
window open as large as you want, then while holding SHIFT down, close the
window by the "x". This should maintain the new window size between
sessions.

New windows are not truly maximized, but can be set to nearly so by the
method above.

There is a nice free program called AutoSizer at http://www.SouthBayPC.com
which does what I think you are asking. Try it.
