D is for Diopter
If the view through your viewfinder is always blurry, check the diopter adjustment. Leave your lens cap on, turn on the camera, and adjust the diopter until the info display in the finder is as sharp as it can be.

Now that was a handy tip. :D

... you can read till you're blue in the face, a good 'workshop' will actually teach you.

With the advent of DSLRs, one can practice, practice, and, practice, without having to develop the film. :D
