Hi, all
when i check the task manager, I saw a process called "tmproxy.exe" is
running. it is a big memory user. I wonder if this is a Trojan.
BTW, I am running XP home, and using a router connected to my cable modem.
this computer is connected to the router directly (not wireless). at this
moment, no other computer is turned on in my house.

regards,
t.z.

This a proxy for Trend Micro, which check for secure server to update Trend
Micro Definitions and authenticate your Machine to the trend Micro server.
Don't do any thing to this unless you have a trouble, sometimes if your AV
is updating this Process will reach high CPU usage, which is normal during
the updates.

Note, Viruses, malware can mimic any names, so if you don't know what Trend
Micro or you don't have it you should be worried.
HTH.
