A simple "sol.exe" question

Obviously not simple for me....anyway...all I want to do is get my original
simple little solitaire game back - the one that came with my computer and
Windows XP...the one that always comes with Windows. To make a long story
short, I had to have my hard drive restored to it's original state - the way
it was when I bought it. Trouble is, the place where I bought did that job
for me and didn't replace the games software. I really don't give a hoot
about the other stuff...I just want my solitaire. I'd rather not take my PC
back tothem again...another long story...don't trust them. Is there any way
to get that one little executable file without an act of Congress? I don't
want to purchase a million different kinds of solitaire, I only want that one
simple version...the Windows uses. Anybody help? Thanks.

Tried that. Says I need a Windows XP CD. Don't have one. I bought this
computer from a lease-to-own company. They did not give me any CD's w/the
computer after I completed payments and will not give me any now; they say
they didn't get any with the computer (Dell). I don't believe them, but at
this point, nothing I can do. I should have been wiser at the time; hindsight
- 20/20. In any case it's only a solitaire game, but would still like to have
it...if possible. Would also like to get hold of a copy of that CD somewhere
if possible. If not...thanks anyway for your suggestion.

You need to contact the lease-to-own company.

SOL is right.

Look in the System32 folder for sol.exe. Type system32 into Start | Run.

Get a copy of sol.exe from a friend.

Purchase a copy of Windows XP.

Do a Search for SOL.EX_ the compressed version of sol.exe. SOL.EX_ may
exist in an i386 folder on your machine.
