that I have been unable to find a simple answer. [MSIE 6.0, Windows 2000
Pro.]

Right-click on a picture
Select Save Picture As

The Save Picture dialog always opens to the My Pictures folder. I do not use
the My Pictures folder, it is not applicable to my situation (They're not
"MY" pictures, and they need to be saved to a network location, not to my
local PC )

How do I change the default file location for saving pictures:so I don't
have to dink around and navigate to the location where I do want to save
them?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry, my error, I got sidetracked and posted this to the wrong newsgroup.

I wouldn't mind knowing if this is possible as well, if anyone feels
like answering to this in this newsgroup!

Thanks!

Just download Tweak-UI for Windows XP. Category My
Computer, Special Folders - Just redirect My Pictures to any
drive and folder location you want.
