A simple filtering question

My question is simple, but if it possible, may have a more complex
answer.
If a worksheet is set up with the data in rows, rather than columns,
is it possible to filter by rows. Assume field headers are in Column
A rather than ROw 1.

AFAIK not possible with Excel's build in features

If you don't have more then 256 rows, you could try "Transpose".
