Hi,

I plan to network my new pc (WinXP) with my older pc (Win98). I have a
pretty clear set of instructions, but there are questions I have about the
final behavior.

Based upon the assumption of proper networking, I have a couple questions
and would appreciate any feedback.

#1 When I crank up my new pc using XP and open Windows Explorer, will it
show the drives on the networked pc (98) - which has two hard drives (~
17GB, ~2GB) - as simply other hard drives?

#2 Does Win98 function or do anything in such a network where the primary pc
is WinXP?

Thanks,
Jeff

Only if those drives are set to be shared in 98, and you map those
shares in XP.

Not understanding what you mean, 98 will function as it's supposed to.
