A record

In Active-Directory, DNS.
Will Windows XP Pro. sp2 workstations able to register to the DNS in Domain
Controller?
Will the Windows Firewall blocked it by default?
If a registered, A record, machine has physically permanently removed (no
longer in use), will the record in DNS remove automatically?

Yes

Not that I'm aware of.

It depends on who owns the record or if scavenging is enabled. If the record
is dynamically registered, the record should be removed at shutdown. This
may not happen if the client is suddenly disconnected from the network or
ungracefully powered off.

Yes. Assuming you set them up correctly and they can
find the dynamic DNS server Master(s).

Not the XP client side. It blocks the XP machine being
a "server" (for most things).

If you turn on the equivalent firewall ("basic firewall" ) on the
DNS server then yes.

Maybe.

Scavenging removes such abandoned dynamic records but is
off by default.

Scavenging must be enabled in two places to function: One
the DNS server (as a whole) and on EACH Zone (in particular.)
