A Question of Time

Hello,

Windows 2003 AD here. 60 Workstations.
2 of them suddently started to go forward in time. 3 or 4 Days. The clock
itself stayed at the right time. Just the days jumped. Any idea how that
happened?
For the error analyse:
If i type net time i get told they are sync with "time.windows.com,0x1"
Which is weird because i konfigured in the groupolicies that it should sync
with a cisco router.
How can i check from where a client gets its timeinformations?
Why it doesnt show the konfigured ntp source when i type the
"net time" command?

I would check the local time zone configuration on that machine. Maybe the
user changed it. The command you are looking for is "net time \\computer
/querysntp". This will tell you where the computer is set to synchronize with.

The Querysntp shows me also the time.windows.com,0x1 Server as Timesource. As
i said the Workstations are in an AD and there should at least the
AD-Controllername given back. But also as i said i configured the Groupolicys
to get the time from a router. Why it doest work, or why i dont get the right
answers from the querysntp.

I checked the functionality of the GP's with the gpresult command on the
client.
