Hi
A Program is trying tro access e-mail addresses you have
stored in outlook. Do you want to allow this?

This only happened when I install the new Office XP
service pack 3 update, is there anywhere when i can
change this setting.

Thanks

I am having the same problem when I try to do a HotSync with my Palm. In fact, I lost my HotSync settings and had to reinstall the software

How do I fix this

It's a known issue with SP3; security has been updated to more closely match
the security in Outlook 2003. You may be able to get around the problem by
either disabling Word as your e-mail editor or updating some of your
add-ins, especially virus scanners and spam filters (many major
manufacturers have already released compatible updates). See the following
articles for more information:

Actually the problem started happening to us also on all our Office
2003 and Office XP with SP3 machines. The only way we have found to
bypass this problem is to go to Tools/Options/Mail Format and check
the "Use Microsoft Office Word to edit e-mail address". We were
getting the warning messages everytime we wrote an e-mail or sometimes
on certain replies also. If anyone knows why this happens and how to
correct it, e-mail me at (e-mail address removed). In the meantime
hope this solves your problem.
