A Problem with Ppt's "Save as Picture"

Hello! I recently took pictures with a digital camera and needed to resize
them. I inserted them into powerpoint, resized/cropped the images as needed
then "save as picture" them (right click). The images were proportionate when
I saved them, but when I look at them with preview or any other program (such
as Paint), they are squished to about the same shape as the original images.
Can anyone help with this?

Thanks in advance!

Which version of PPT?

What file format are you saving the picture as when you right-click?

Not sure why this is happening, but if you just need to resize digital photos,
PPT's not a great tool for the job.

Try IrfanView instead. It's much better suited to the task, it's free. What
more could we ask for? <g>
