A POPUP sound with no POPUP!

Hello & Happy Holidays.
Just broke down and got a new computer - come to find out it is already on
the way out. - so much for research...
Anyway - after I sign on, I get a "pop-up sound" ever so often. I know it
to be the XP notification sound, but no pop-up appears on the Desktop screen
- Weird, huh?
It happens when I am on or offline.

How can I find what the pop-up sound is trying to say?

Preinstalled XP SP2 on and HP Medai Center TC PC.

You browser may be blocking pop-ups but still giving you an audible
"warning"
In the settings you can turn off the audiable warning

You can do this through the Audio and Sound from the control Panel click on
Sound, speech and Audio Devices.
In the Side menu click on Accessibility Sound Options and on the
Accessibility Options you will see these Options:
Keyboard | Sound | Disspaly | Mouse | General |
Click on Sound Tab and you can check SoundSentry
[ ] Use soundSenery and you can select the visual warning:
and also showSounds.
On General Tab, you can turn Automatic reset for accessibility feature, and
the notification, like given you warning Mesg when turining feature On, or
turning OF or ON.
If you the Admin, there are options on the General Tab in the bottom for
Admin and new users.
