You cell widths exceed 100% of the table size.

thank Thomas.

When I read your response I thought "oh silly me", but when I just
checked the the page I found that I haven't set a table size.

This is probably a very ignorant question but "how can the cell width
exceed an unspecifed table width" ?

regards,

Mike

Recommend you advise all newsgroup users (and site visitors) your site contains Adult Content!

Set your cell and image alignment properties

The way to do this would be to have your base table with 6 rows, and then
insert 6 tables, set a 100% width, one in each row, then set up your column
for each table/row.

I'll do this and am sure that it will work as you know your stuff !!

Have a great evening and New Year !

True, your site doesn't have any content, but the missing images do link to
adult content, which I didn't bother to click on last night.

Thomas and Stephan,

it might be worthwhile here to explain something fundamental, not just
for me but for all users.

Why doesn't this page work "normally" as per many others.

I have made many many sites and not encountered the problem.

Is it a problem with FrontPage or an inherent problem in HTML ?

If we can understand your answer to this then we will have understood
a lot more about HTML

thanks

Michael

Normally when working with table, the cell need to align across rows and
columns. In your example, the columns in the 2nd row do not match the column
in the 1st and 3rd rows, etc.

Which is why the best approach is to used nested tables (insert a table into
each row) and then arrange the columns as needed for that row.
