A little form to search main from

I have e sub form (subForm) on a main form (frmMain), I have created a little
form that I want to search records of this subform, this little search form
has a subform (as datasheet), when I double click on this I want to close
this little search form and find the records I just double clicked on the
main form (sub form placed on main form).

Any help/tip is greatly appreciated!

Actually, I often simply launch the search form *first*. You then have it
setup so that you edit the main form...and when you close it...you return to
the search form.....

Thanks for your response. Your instructions/code works great but this is
still not what I am looking for. What it is, two forms with subforms, they
are both opened, when I click on each others record, I want to set focus to
the other form and to the exact record.
