Hi
I want a free, lightweight rss reader other than RSSowl, Tristana,
Blogexpress, wTicker and Abilon.

I don't know if it's ok for you but if you use Firefox then there is Sage.

"Sage is a lightweight RSS and Atom feed aggregator extension for Mozilla
Firefox. It's got a lot of what you need and not much of what you don't."

nntp//rss...lets you read rss feeds in any standard nntp client
program...loads them as if they were newsgroups

Hi,

I wholeheartedly second that. I recommended GreatNews some time back in
this newgroup when I first started using it for a couple of weeks (after
ditching SharpReader) and I am still using it after these months!
Haven't found anything better. Portable, small memory footprint, great
UI, and free!

Regards.
