a .gif attachement to all my emails

I have a white box .gif that is attaching itself to all my emails. I don't
see it when I send the email, only when people reply and ask me why they are
getting it, or when I cc myself. It is very annoying. Any help will be
greatly appreciated.

Then you have an add-in or some software on your PC doing the addition.

Thanks Brian, but I've not added any new s/w in well over a year. This just
started about 3 months ago. I have no clue as to where to search for this
"add-in". What is that and do you know where I could find it? Thanks,Pam

The first thing I'd do is use Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy to look
for any spyware. Then I'd look in Tools>Options>Other>Advanced
Options>Add-in Manager and ...>COM Add-ins for anything. I'd also start
Outlook in Safe mode (Start>Run. Enter
"%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\OfficeX\Outlook.exe" /safe
Keeing the quotes and spaces and substituting for "X" your version of
Outlook, which you didn't share with us) and see if it still happens.
