A ClamWin problem

M

ms

I had a strange one.
Installed ClamWin in W98SE, very nice, it D/L updates, it scanned a folder, I
finished and exited. Several hours later, I clicked on the shortcut, nothing. I
went to the ClamWin folder and clicked on ClamWin.exe 49 KB, the executable(?),
nothing.

It will not run again.
Later today I will post on it's forum, I see there someone else had same problem
in W2000, it's solution didn't work here.

Just wondering if anyone here saw this and solved it?

Hi Mike,

Re-boot and try launching ClamWin from the Tray icon.

I found a nasty myself. ClamWin put 2,166 CHM files in my \user\Temp folder
under \"clamav-3e7de3fc410ee4a4" folder. Weird wild stuff!

You must have it starting with windows to automatically have a tray icon. I would
get it after I would start Clam with the Start menu Program shortcut, same thing,
but no luck now.
I will post on the SourceForge forum.
