"SIMPLY SAFE BACKUP FREE/HOME EDITION: Back up to DVD or CD-ROM. This
version is designed for home/personal use, and to give users a test-drive of
Simply Safe’s capabilities. This version allows only the minimal
(40-bit/64-bit) encryption and compression level options, and is limited to
40,000 files in a single backup volume."

Trialware? Liteware?

Can't remember if the consensus was that Liteware was valid Freeware or not.
I know Trialware is not.

40,000 files might be enough for some people but not me. And minimum
compression levels puts it in the category of crippleware, I'd say.
Others MMMV.
