A call to SetServiceStatus failed with error code 6

Hi,

I am using Window 2000 server SP4. Recently, the Mysql service got stopped.
The Event Log show this:
Event Service Event ID : 4101 Description: The COM+ Event System detected an
unexpected error from a Win32 API call at line 187 of .\service.cpp. A call
to SetServiceStatus failed with error code 6: "The handle is invalid. "

May I know how to resolve this?

You might look for updates to mysql or the application that uses mysql.
