A bootable CD/disk with HDD benchmarks?

Hello! Is there a bootable disk/CD that will let me run benchmarks on HDDs? I don't want to boot up the OS
from the HDD. A LiveCD would be good.

That will do. I assume Maxtor disk utility won't care what file system I am using. I am using EXT3 FS.
