9800 pro and MOH help please - way too dark

I have a 9800 pro ATI card. First ATI card I've ever owned. Whenever I go
to play MOH, the screen is way too dark. So, I go into the video section of
MOH and set the brightness all the way up, but the game is still way to
dark.
I have set my brightness and contrast on my monitor all the way up, and
still the same thing. Even set the brightness and contrast all the way up
in the control panel -Color-fullscreen up and still the same thing. This is
a quake 3 engine based game. Any hints on something else I might try?

You rarely want to adjust brightness or contrast - usually you need to set
gamma to about 1.3.

Gamma makes the darks bit lighter, but does not change the value of absolute
white or black.

Brightness adjusts your black, contrast adjusts your white.
