9800 AIW puts XP to Sleep?

When I'm doing a vid capture from a VCR, my monitor will
randomly go into sleep mode and the system becomes unresponsive to keyboard
or mouse input. Have to reboot.

I've tried two capture programs - happened with both. I've seen reference to
this problem back to 2001 but wondering if anyone has any theories on how to
fix it.

Running XP SP1 / Intel MB / 1 gig mem / AIW 9800 has 128megs. / Power
settings are off (no automatic Power Saving enabled).

Had same problem with a VIA chipset board. Go to video settings advanced
SMartGart and sit to 4xAGP,
that fixed it for me.
