98 to XP upgrade problems with Outlook Express

I installed the 98 to XP update this weekend.

I am running both Outlook Express and regular Outlook on
the same machine. I have the Office 2000 version of
OutLook and Outlook Express.

The mail and contact file for Outlook transfered
properly, but the mail or contact files did not transfer
for Outlook express.

Can anyone provide any suggestions on what I can do to
recover my Outlook Express mail file and contact files?
