You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, try the
following and see if it helps:
Clear the Temporary Internet Files and delete Cookies.

if still no joy.....
If you have any add-ons, try disabling them and see if that helps:
Open IE>Tools>Manage Add-ons
Disable all add-ons and see if that resolves the problem. If so, then
enable them one at a time until you find the one that is causing the problem
and then leave it disabled. If you have a good many add-ons, it could be
more than one, so test them all to be sure.
